Dear,
also when you may not want to hear it, the best way to look for a job is to look for suitabale job opening online, send in a professional written cv and then do the follow up.
Your problem is that you came here on a tourist visa looking for a job which put you on a 30 days time frame and you are running out of time now.
I provided you with travel related answers (return ticket), I answered your visa related questions, provided you with job agencies in Dubai to visit (Adresses, directions and contacts), job openings advertised in the paper and even where to apply for a job in Iraq.
I do not want to offend you, but – do you look representable? Is your cv written professional? You also have to make up your mind. Rearding one of your questions you have a degree in mass communication, then you are looking for a security job, then for an unskilled labor job. Now you are looking for a position as a computer operator/receptionist or an editorial job. Make up your mind what you want.
Sorry to say that, but maybe working in Dubai is not meant for you.
All the best.

Walk in is very effective but the problem is its not allowed by the Government. If you are caught you will be deported.
Try e-mailing and Calling.
Good Luck.

Tough one to do nowadays really.
The whole UAE is in recession (government is yet ot admit).
Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha where stock market are hit almost everyday.
Real estate sector is laying off jobs.
Construction sector is to follow with a massive lay offs as more than 200 buildings and construction sites are to slow down.
Tourism sector is inching day by day to a grand lay offs.
Manufacturing sectors are lowering down its production.
Trading sector is slowing down….
So what is really in store for visit visa holders who are actually job hunters ?
Firstly, if you’re serious in getting a job – then forget your job profile. Don’t be choosy. Target a job that will surely give you a working and residence visa to save you from that ticking time bomb liked visit visa.
Second – don’t hit a blank wall ! Get a newspaper and look for a job opening instead of targeting establishments or institutions whom nobody knows whether they are hiring or laying offs…Remember, you are time bound and time wasting is not a solution. Point blank with a 100% job opening is what you have to aim NOT sending CVs via email or fax.
Thirdly – CALL the job opening publisher and push for a job interview appointment. But dont call ANY just to find whether they have opening or not !
Lastly – if you reached a recruitment agency, put them as your 2nd option. What you need is a position that give you the job NOT an agency who will milk you money first and lead you where to find that job.
Remember, 6 months ago – there are almost 18 people on the average fighting for a single job opening. Nowadays, the ratio is 1 is to 40 excluding those thousands of visit visa holders stranded in Kish, Qesm, and Oman eagerly waiting to be back in Dubai after a month !!!
think and goodluck !!
