Question by Mn: What is the best graphics card meeting these requirements?
My specs (HP prebuilt PC)
I KNOW THAT IT’S outdated but all I have is 80$ now and I want to be able to play newer games at minimum or low settings with at least 20 fps. ( I prefer something with the strength of a 9800GTX or an HD 4770, although these are very good my CPU will be a huge bottleneck, but then again all I need is 20fps on min settings for new games.
I’m 14 and all I have is literally $ 80 (300 AED, I live in the UAE)
If a card can’t run on any of my PSUs, then the graphics card should cost less than $ 80 leaving me with enough money to buy a new PSU

I have a 300w power supply with 19 amps on the 12v rail and a spare 450w with 17 amps on the 12v rail.
PCI-Express 1.1 ( 2.0 is backward compatible)
Pentium D 925

2.5 GB RAM DDR2 400 MHz

My current card is 64MB 7300 LE with a problem, damaged from overheating or something, I borrowed another card from a friend and it worked so I can confirm that my graphics card has a problem and even if it didn’t I mean come on! 7300 LE 64 MB a thousand of those wouldn’t be faster than a GTX 580, anyways I’ve been searching a lot and coudn’t find anything suitable.

I live in the UAE so I can’t buy off the Internet so I need a common or popular card that I would find in a computer shop.
any help is strongly appreciated!

Look at NVIDIA. Very very good graphics cards.

  2. Faruque Says:

    Dear Friend,

Please Look for ATI HD 5770 – Its under $ 100 and comes with a great gaming performance. NVIDIA also good but they costs more then ATI but in performance almost same.

But please note you also need to have special power supply around 600W maybe!
