Hai everybody,
i wanna connect and access my files and everything on my pc from my work place and vice versa. i came ot know abt the logmein, gotomypc, etc on net. also i wanna know abt the remote desktop connection. if i want to connect to remote desktop connection, what are the procedures do i want to do. I’m using P3 , with 256 kbps ADSL connection.my location is Dubai.
i knwo that i cant copy my files from remote to my local pc. i’m sure.i can only access the files and internet and some resources there in my remote pc from local.
i wanna access and my files to be copied from remote pc to local pc. what was the connection do i want to use and waht is the procedure to do this.
please help me in this regards.

how can i map this dynamic ip address to static ip address.

I do not recommand this method because you pc at home has to be on all the time and vulenrable to any hacks.
get a big usb flash storage like 4GB copy all your files and take to work

hi, first of all, if you want to change your ip to static ip, you have to contact your local Internet service provider. how ever, we can use remote desktop connection with the ip you have now. first, you have to know your ip address of your home pc. to do this, go to http://www.whatismyip.com and it’ll give your ip. After going to your office, on your office pc, click on Start->All Programs->Accessories->Communications->Remote Desktop Connection. key in your home pc’s ip here and click on connect!! you are done.

On the logmein site there is a hamatchi remote programme. This allows you to set up a vpn between the machines without having to worry about IP addresses.

You Can Do That Easy And Safe From Your Windows By Remote Desktop. It Allow You To Connect From Your Work Place To YOur Home.
Ok You Should Past These WAys -p
1- Go : Control Panel => System
2-On Remote Tap Check The Allow This User To Connect ….
3-Next Select On : Select Remote User
4- Then Select On Add User
5- Select On Locations
6- Select On Object And Click On The Name Do You Want To Add. Its Add To List
7- then set the name and Click On Check Button
That link is domain , you just go on Start => all programs => accessories => Communications=>remote desktop
Then Set User And Pass And Domain of Win And connect to your system from your office.

Dear Friend ,
Your idea is good but indirectly you are keeping your door open to one or other hacker in invisible ways..
There are many softwares like RAdmin , PCAnywhere , VNC etc .
I feel team viewer (www.teamviewer.com) is also nice software … however dont think its good method.. You are inviting some hacker to your PC indirectly..
Best option is use VPN etc …..
