Driver or sales manager…. that are quite different jobs that need different qualities. What is your experience & education? Find jobs that match your qualification and see how much they offer for that position.
Look at the direct links to open vacancies in Dubai here: http://www.startpagedubai.com/jobs.htm
Most recruitment agencies and jobsites will give a salary indication.

It depends what nationality you are. It’s sad but true that in the UAE, salaries are very dependent on a person’s nationality. For example, drivers are usually Pakistani. And a driver does not earn good money. Sales executives and managers will earn more than a driver. But again, it depends on your nationality. Western nationals (American, British, Australian etc.) have much better job packages than Asian nationals (Pakistanis, Indians, Phillipinos etc.) It’s sadly racist, but the reality over here.

firstly it is a myth that working for an arab family will benefit you, most of them may be nice people but not necessarily.
most drivers here are Pakistani’s and they dont make much mainly because of the high cost of living in the past year or so. Dubai was not so expensive before as it is now. Working for a wealthy family will get you around 2500 to 3000 dirhams and might be given accomodation and food with that. As for salesman u have to have a driving licence and you should know the market well. Most sales jobs are commission+ salary with targets. First thing first u should have some one you know here to help with your stay till you find a job or to take you around as cabs are very expensive and the bus service is hopeless. Computer operator may not be enough an added course or some added qualification may help you that may give you a atart of 3000 or so, but rents are extremely high and you do have to share your living space to meet the rent. Best of luck. (living here for 30 years :)
