Ok,, I have two older sisters and they studied computer engineering, even my father is a computer engineer. but I just HATE it!!
then, my sisters are not finding any job here in UAE and their situation is totally bad. even though they got high marks in univeristy.
I’m so good at math, but I don’t like it. I just study because I have to study. this is what I used to do in high school. but now in the univeristy I can’t force myself to study computer engineering!
I’m a good artist. I draw realism art, comics, manga, and digital drawing. I wish I can study something like this. but there’s no way my parents can let me study the thing I want.
I told them I won’t do good in computer engineering. and if I gave up and continued studying it, I will never think of working as a computer engineer!! it’s not something I can stand at all T_T
what should I do with my so sadistic family?

Awww, girl you need to take control!
As passionate as your parents are about your studying this, at the end of the day its your life, your future, and you should do what makes you happy.
Studying does have it downsides, but on the whole, you should be enjoying the course you’re studying; if you have no passion for the subject, what motivation are you going to have when looking for a job?
I know its probably difficult having to change career direction when your sisters and father have gone down the same route, but you need to stand up for yourself and do what makes you happy.
I am sure your parents will support you whatever you choose whether they are making that clear or not at the moment, and I have hope that in the future you will have a successful job in what you enjoy… who will have the last laugh then? :)

Hello again!!!
I think no one can force you to study thing that you don’t want or hate,because you might be successful in the university but not in your everyday life after the graduation so you go with whatever your heart tells you…..I have been to the same situation before..my parents told me to study architecture engineering but I chose to study what I liked the most ”English Literature”…and I’m happy with it…
Studying art isn’t that bad though..I’m actually an artist..I like drawing very much so follow your heart..
