MBA – General Management :)

My BS is in Telecommunications Management

I would say do whatever provides you with more options in the working field and choose what you are good at doing and enjoy because if you don’t enjoy it you will be miserable and feel trapped cuz you don’t have options.

I am will be graduating with a BS in Business Adminsitration but I want to specialize in Information Technology because I know my passion is in computers. I only took a BSBA because my parents wanted me to. Not that there are any regrets since I too have an enterpreneurial spirit like them.

In my opinion, the real question should be what is it you like to do? What it is you want to achieve in life? You are already knowlegable in the technical side of IT but will doing manegerial work like Systems project analysis drive your adrenaline? If you still don’t know though, I guess the safer answer would be in Business Administration because this will give you a broader idea of all business processes.

Oh, and assess your self too, what skills do you possess. Are you creative? Are you the type who likes to deal with people? Depending on your characteristic, you can have an idea which area of specialization will be more suitable for you.

Although the economics part like supply and demand for a skill is important, I believe it is more essential that you love what you are doing. Because if you do, you will be more willing to learn even without guidance and it definitely shows in your level of condfidence when dealing with people.

Good luck in making a decision.
