Helo friends how are u…. I need ur help. I m from India and at my home I have desktop computer. And now I m in Dubai, can any one tell me how I can control my home computer from Dubai….. I will appreciate to giving me ur time …..

Get Ubuntu Linux, or any Linux. A good distro with a nice GUI is preferred by many.
VMware or some SUN thing can do it one a windows box.

http://www.logmein.com I use that program to keep my daughter’s computer running right for her. She lives on the other side of the country. It’s free. Just install it on both computers, you can completely control one computer with the other, and transfer files.

Hello,

It sounds like you need remote access software that *does not* require software to be pre-loaded on the remote side (in your case, India).

Please note that some free access sites that people suggest on here may require you to install software on the remote side or even both sides, which would be useless for you in this scenario.

LogMeIn is a good tool, but I’m pretty sure I read somewhere that you need to install it on the remote side first!
