A sound card is a physical card that is inserted in your PCI slot or on board. What you are missing is the driver that decodes the files and tells your computer to ‘play’ the music. Go into your hardware manager and look for sound device. Take that model number and google that and the word ‘driver’. You will download the driver and then you will hear the sweet sound of music!
