Am I blacklisted in UAE?
Question by Sampath: Am I blacklisted in UAE?
I was working for Dubai Company for some times and came home over an issue in payments and other facilities. However I came with out any permission of the company. Once I came I understood that the company have complained against me to the police, emmigration/immigration departments, Embassies etc.. saying I have stolen cash and blocked the computer system of theirs. All charges are bogus. I want to know,
1) If I am blacklisted in UAE?
2) If I am blacklisted in GCC countries?
Please help me to resolve this issue?

Depends how far the company went with your issue.
If they complained to the police and to the ministry of labor, then you may be flagged upon arrival.
Being banned in UAE will generally not cause you to be banned from GCC, as long as you hold valid travel documents for the country you are visiting.
They do not have interconnected systems yet.

If your former company filed a case – you are blacklisted. In this case you are blacklisted in the UAE only.
